About the role

Himalayan Performance Labs (HPL) is looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in Solan, Himachal Pradesh. We develop automotive embedded systems, ECU tools, and custom hardware and software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on end-to-end product development, from firmware and PCB design to hardware integration and testing.

Key responsibilities

Embedded firmware development in C/C++
PCB design, hardware bring-up, and debugging
Development using STM32 and ARM microcontrollers
Implementation of CAN, UART, SPI, I²C, and other communication interfaces
Prototyping, testing, and validation of embedded hardware and firmware

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in embedded systems
Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ and microcontroller programming
Hands-on experience with PCB design and hardware debugging
Familiarity with STM32, CAN, and embedded communication protocols
Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot hardware and firmware
Experience with automotive electronics, CAN, ISO-TP, UDS, or OBD-II will be an advantage

Candidates from Himachal Pradesh and nearby states are preferred.
